Avira - Avira Anti-virus - www.avira.com
In my experience, Avira outperforms most antivirus programs. On a personal note, I fix many computers with viruses and I have not yet had to clean one that has been using Avira.
I DO NOT recommend antivirus from Symantec/Norton, McAffee, or anything that came pre-installed with your computer or that your internet service provider gives you.
These programs seem to work well together on all the systems that I have installed them on.
Just remember to check each program for updates on a regular basis. I usually remind windows users to run each of the spyware ones about once a week and
do an update from within the program.
